PlastiColor® Company

PlastiColor® has been supplying the automotive aftermarket with high quality automotive accessories for over 30 years. Located in Fullerton, California, PlastiColor® distributes a variety of accessories for the interior and exterior of vehicles, all coordinated with today's most trend-relevant designs and licensed logos.

PlastiColor®, founded by Gordon Bagne and Robert Klinger in 1972, in response to a demand for colorful, fashion floor mats. Up to that time, the only floor mats available were predominantly molded black mats, clear vinyl mats and simple one-color carpet mats. Using their expertise in molding techniques, PlastiColor® launched a small line of colorful, molded, fashion floor mats. The product was an instant success, which began to create a demand for other colorful accessories to match the floor mats. Before long, PlastiColor® was producing a variety of accessories to complement the floor mat line. The first licensed product opportunity came about through Warner Brothers, creating the now famous "Back Off" Yosemite Sam mud flap, which was introduced in 1974.

Since then, PlastiColor® has continued to expand and now offers more than 20 different accessory categories with over 30 varieties of licensed properties and logos. In 2000, PlastiColor®, seeking to grow the company further, purchased Chroma™. Together PlastiColor® and Chroma™ offer an extensive array of licensed automotive accessories. These exciting lines of high quality merchandise have become popular staples within the industry.
